The bloody reboot of Puppet Master, the classic horror franchise from the twisted mind of Charles Band, finally invades the UK with Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich hitting theaters on April 19th. Directed by Tommy Wiklund and Sonny Laguna, with a script penned by Bone Tomahawk filmmaker S. Craig Zahler, this new spin on the series is sure to ruffle more than a few feathers.
Thomas Lennon stars as middle aged man that is forced to move back in with his parents after a bitter divorce. After finding a scary little puppet — spoiler, it’s Blade — in his dead brother’s closet he figures he can sell it for a quick buck at an upcoming auction. Unfortunately, said auction is to celebrate 30 years since the infamous Toulon Murders, and that’s where all our murderous little friends reconvene and well, all hell breaks loose.
Making this film extra special is that all the gory carnage is set to a brand new score from the legendary Italian composer, Fabio Frizzi.
Rounding out the cast is Jenny Pellicer, Nelson Franklin, Barbara Crampton, Charlyne Yi, Michael Pare, and Udo Kier. The Littlest Reich is produced by Dallas Sonnier and Amanda Presmyk, and presented by Fangoria.
