Contrary to the customary pushing back of a games release date which has become a staple of Triple A development in recent years, Sony have decided to bring the release date for Horizon: Zero Dawn forward a couple of days.

The robot-dinosaur shooty, climby, survival crafting-y game has been brought forward a couple of days in the UK and is now pegged for launch on the 1st March 2017.

Developed by Guerrilla games, the same bunch of people behind the Killzone franchise, Horizon was once meant to be getting a 2016 launch but, as is the custom, was delayed in order to allow the developers more time to iron out any performance problems and make sure everything was in order.
